Penfield Ambulance is dedicated to making certain that the needs of our patients and our personnel are met by keeping our equipment up-to-date with the latest technology.

Penfield Ambulance maintains a fleet of seven ambulances and a fly car. Each ambulance carries a wide range of equipment and supplies needed to provide professional care on all types of medical emergencies.  To ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and staff, our ambulances are equipped with Stryker power stretchers and power load systems. 

Typically, one ambulance is replaced every year to 18 months. The cost for replacing one ambulance, including all the equipment and supplies that the ambulance carries, is approximately $350,000.
